CODESIGNING HYBRID GAMES WITH YOUNGSTERS AGED 16-18

Share

A hybrid game (digital/physical) facilitating the educational process and promoting young people’s skills in critical analysis of information/news (TRL 6-8) is being developed. For that, youngsters aged between 12 and 18 will be involved in the process through workshops, i.e., training 16-18 years old youngsters in Peer&Media (P&M) Education so they can train their peers aged between 12-15 years old.

These game-playing activities will enable better understanding of the readers-producers’ behaviors relative to fact-checking and attitudes towards media in times of crisis. In specific, players play the role of media communicators, producers and editors to inform this crisis, accounting for the impacts of harmful effects on societies and actively involving youth communities, teachers, school and media agents.

The game and results of these sessions will be soon available….
