In this activity, a minimum of 30 project stakeholders including professors, journalists, among other stakeholders with background on media studies, games, and crisis management will be performed to gather different perspectives on the media design practices and policymaking in youngsters’ literacy in Times of Crisis.

This activity aims to bridge the gap between professional areas related to journalism and schools, fostering media literacy among the younger generations. In this sense, this project involves these stakeholders in developing innovative solutions that address the gaps in promoting media literacy in times of crisis.

The goals established for the interviews in Portugal, Spain and Italy are: (a) Identify the opportunities and challenges in media literacy; (b) Propose a set of best practices in youngsters’ media literacy; and (c) Assess the stakeholders’ perception of the strategies used to promote media literacy and training needs.

A report with these results is being prepared and will be provided in this website.
